Yacht Nimet-Allah Abbas Hilmi II

In the shipyard of Blohm and Voss in Kiel the Khedive had a yacht  built, the

1923 Nimet-Allah 71m/232ft H. H. Abbas Hilmi II, Khedive of Egypt

Alex accompanied his Highness as his butler on the yacht.

The yacht was very much in Kiel at anchor. The cabins were cramped and dark. Leaving the ship was closely monitored. Alex had a secret compartment in his cabin, where he kept his valuables. If the yacht is still there, then things are probably still there . Alex followed Abbas Hilmi II to Paris, thinking he would return to the yacht.

1923 hatte sich der Khedive bei der Werft Blohm und Voss in Kiel eine Yacht bauen lassen, die „Nimet Allah“ hieß. 

Alex begleitete seine Hoheit als Butler auf die Yacht.

 Die Yacht lag sehr viel in Kiel vor Anker. Die Kabinen waren eng und dunkel. Das Verlassen des Schiffs wurde streng überwacht. Alex hatte in seiner Kabine ein Geheimfach, in welchem er seine Wertgegenstände aufbewahrte. Wenn die Yacht noch existiert, dann sind die Sachen vielleicht immer noch dort. Alex folgte Abbas Hilmi II nach Paris und dachte, er würde wieder auf die Yacht zurückkehren.
